I just can't get the captions.txt to work

Hi.

The file "captions.txt" is placed in the same directory as all the images and every image has a position in the file.
e.g.: bruichladdich_10y.jpg|Bruichladdich 10 y|Bruichladdich 10 years old.

The gallery is defined by: {gallery}bildbevis/whisky/samlingen,height=240,ratio=0,crop=0,caption=1,itpc=0,fileinfo=1,thumbs=1,images_new=1{/gallery}

But the only text that is visible in the gallery view and on the popup image is the file name.

Hope someone has a good idea what is wrong.
