Hit counter

Hi, can you help me?
I installed the Page Cache Extended Pro - PCE plugin.
It’s an excellent plugin with more configuration options compared to the basic page cache plugin.However, I have one issue that I’m hoping can be resolved. When I enable PCE, the hits counter on articles stops working. Is there any way, or perhaps a code snippet, that would allow the hits counter to increase by one each time an article is loaded while still keeping PCE active?
