Lazy Load with Search Engines?

Lazy Load with Search Engines? was created by Josh
It recently occurred to me that are Search Engines like Google able to find the images in articles? The reason I ask is because the images only load when you scroll down, a web crawler would probably get the data differently. This is important because much of my site involves pictures which over time I expect some to make it into google images.
