Problem uploading images with Convert images to webP enabled

Problem uploading images with Convert images to webP enabled was created by Avilacoaching
Hi,
I just purchased and installed EIR professional and converted all existing images on my website.
This seems to work fine exept that the message 'wait etc.' never disapeared.
But my problem now is that when I try to upload a new image with the setting 'Convert images to webP enabled' I get a 408 errror message
When I disable this setting uploading works fine.
Can you advise me what to do so I can convert images to webP while uploading?
I;m using Joomla! 3.10.8
