ECC not showing up in Frontend Login Form

Hi,

we have a problem getting ECC+ running on Joomla Login Form.

Expected behavior:
The Frontend Login Form is extended by ECC+ with math calculation

Actual behavior:
The ECC+ question is not showing up in Frontend login. A try with correct credentials fails with:
How to reproduce:
- install a fresh installation of Joomla 3.8
- install joomla demo data
- install ECC+ via JED
- activate ECC+ plugin
- make sure ECC+ settings have Login Form: yes set

Question:
Do we miss some configuration or face a bug?
