Fox Contact - can't make ECC+ show!

I love this anti-spam component... much better than captcha/recaptcha and I've donated BECAUSE it's a great solution - bravo!
It works great everywhere on my site, except in the Fox Contact form (accessed as a menu item setup).
I have activated it correctly under 3rd Party Extensions in the plugin manager, I've made sure that captcha/recaptcha is off in global settings and plugins, and I've tried all options for turning various elements on/off in the Fox Contact form. No luck!
I am using J2.5.24, and the latest versions of both Fox Contact (2.5.22) and ECC+ (according to the version checker in the plugin manager).

Please can you advise more?
