ECC+ plugin is not working in joomla 1.7

ECC+ plugin is not working in joomla 1.7 was created by ramya
I am using shape5_university template.The spam check is not working,showing some error "You failed the spam check. Please try again!" like this.If am changing the template it works properly.I don't know how to make it work in template..

Anyone please help me out for this.Thanks in advance.
