ASK was first released tested only with Joomla! 3.2 (Version 3-1 - 2013-12-16 - see changelog). The plugin will only work with higher versions, in general I only support the latests releases within the major version (now: 3.4.6).

You should update your Joomla! version if you want to use this plugin. By the way, you Joomla! version has several security flaws and you should update asap to the latest release! Don't forget to create a backup first and never update your production website directly.

first of all, thank you for activating a support subscription.

The plugin ASK has the task to activate the subscriptions to the users automatically. In the second screenshot I can see that it works properly. The plugin has nothing to do with the email sending process. This is completely controlled by the Kunena component. If the subscribed users do not get a notification email, then you have to check the Kunena settings (Kunena - Configuration - Users - Subscriptions).

First, you should update to the latest Joomla! version 2.5.11 due to security reason.

Could you please post a screenshot of the settings on your website of ASK?
