Just a question - registered users

Last week I install VCNT for Joomla 1.6 on my web site and it's work good. Since I don't wish that visitors on my site view how many visit we have daily, or monthly, I set up that visitors counter is visible only for registered users. I have feeling that in this case, counter show only numbers of registered user which is visit part for registered users of site? Could you provide more information about this case, did counter count only registered visitors, or all visitors? Thank for your time, and thank you for this easy counter. (P.S.
