Wie kann ich Darstellung des Datums ändern was created by DirtyWorld

Hallo,
wie kann ich den die Darstellung des Datums von

Donnerstag, 12. Mai 2011

auf

12.05.2011

ändern?

Des Weiteren hätte ich gerne vor dem Datum „Geschreiben am“ stehen.
Gibt es irgendwo eine XML_Datei in die ich das reinschreiben kann um es dann über ein Override in die default_entrys.php einzufügen?
