Lightbox not working in Safari

Hi,

I am new to Joomla and am creating a site with the Beez2 template. The SIGE plugin is exactly what I need for my site, however, it does not work in Safari. When I click on the thumbnail, the first image in the folder opens up in a new tab instead of all the images working in a lightbox. It works well in all other browsers, though. Do you have any suggestions for me?
