Another Username question

Thank you for your previous help. I have one more question regarding username on the guestbook entry form. You directed me to the syntax change that allowed EGB to access Joomla username to populate the name field. Is it possible to eliminate the text entry box completely and just display the username without the option of changing it. With no text entry for username only the body of the guestbook entry would allow editing.
