Change Image Layout for Separate Pages

I have been using the SIGE plugin on different pages with different sized photos and they are creating big gaps in my pages if the image size differs slightly.

See for example the following two examples:

Example 1: square images (which looks great)
Example 2: rectangular images (with tons of unnecessary space)

Is there a way to customize this so that there is a standard layout that reduces the amount of space between rows?
