  • + Feature Remember Device - With this option, an authentication cookie is generated and stored in the user client after a successful login for a certain period of days. This cookie allows to sign-in into the user account without having to enter the TOTP security code. Clearing the browser cookies for the used website will enforce a new authentication process. You should use this feature only on your personal devices!

The installation package contains a system plugin for Joomla! >= 3.9.0 and PHP >= 7.3.0.

You require a software-based authenticator that implements two-step verification services using the Time-based One-time Password Algorithm (TOTP; specified in RFC 6238) on your smartphone or desktop (e.g. Google Authenticator or LastPass Authenticator).

This is an extended version of Joomla's Google Authenticator plugin. This version adds the "Remember Device" and "Enforce 2FA" features and removes the dependency on the f0f framework.

Please note that this version is only compatible with Joomla! 3. You must not attempt to install it on Joomla! 4 or any other major Joomla! version. Doing so could result in compatibility issues and potential damage to your website. Please ensure you use the correct extension version for your Joomla! version!
