Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted

Hi and thanks for great plugin!
Recently I've got the problem when I try to publish some new material on my site. After pressing save button in Joomla's New Material window there is no errors. But when I open just published material in the browser I've got following error message: "Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2970792 bytes) in /home/mysite/docs/plugins/content/sige/sige.php on line 713"
Why it happened and how to resolve it?
What is the memory size restriction?
